MQTT Modules for Ignition

CHARIOT SCADA is powered by Inductive Automation’s Ignition Platform.  This is enabled through the use of Cirrus Link Solutions MQTT Modules for Igniton designed specifically for the integration of data building IIoT and SCADA solutions.

The infrastructure is based on MQTT (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) a proven, standard machine-to-machine data transfer protocol that is quickly becoming the leading messaging protocol for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Adding the Cirrus Link MQTT Modules to the Ignition platform empowers companies to set up their own IIoT solution on a secure MQTT Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM) infrastructure.

The Cirrus Link MQTT Modules for Ignition:

MQTT_Logos_6-3-16_Icon-EngineThe MQTT Engine Module: Adds the functionality to the Ignition platform to bidirectional communicate with MQTT enabled edge-of-the-network devices securely via an MQTT Server.

MQTT_Logos_6-3-16_Icon-DistributorThe MQTT Distributor Module:
Adds an MQTT server to the Ignition platform that enables MQTT clients to securely connect, publish, and subscribe to data.

MQTT_Logos_6-3-16_Icon-InjectorThe MQTT Injector Module:
Emulates Edge Gateways and simulates live PLC data to aid in testing the functionality and throughput of IIoT solutions.

The MQTT Transmission Module: Provides an Ignition TAG to MQTT bridge enabling connectivity into MQTT infrastructure as a source of data for line of business applications and control.

The IIoT modules leverage all of Ignition’s unique, industry-leading platform features, which can easily connect the devices in your enterprise and viably harness data for maximum benefit. With Ignition’s unlimited licensing model, you can affordably collect and process massive amounts of data and scale out your system.

Like all Ignition modules, the IIoT modules can be installed, removed, and upgraded without impacting operations or affecting the rest of the system.
